Senior Adult Ministry

Welcome to the heart of our church! The Senior Adult Ministry at Sweetwater Baptist Church is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, fellowship, and purposeful living for our cherished older adults. We believe that every season of life is a gift, and we are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment where seniors can connect with God, with each other, and with the wider community.  Rev. Charlie Crews is our Senior Adult Minister.   He and his wife Nancy would love to meet you!

Joyous Seniors is our ministry to Senior Adults (55 and up) that meets once a month in the Family Life Center.  Each month we hold a luncheon on the third Friday at 11:45 a.m. that includes a delicious meal, fellowship, and entertainment.  We typically take a break during the summer months and resume in September.  The cost of each meal is $10.00 per person.  The monthly price of admission is to help offset the cost of decorations, paper products, cost of guest musicians/speakers, and the meal.  We hope you will consider joining us for our next Joyous Seniors luncheon!  Call the church office at 803-279-2821 to make reservations or to be added to the permanent list.
